This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in G.R. (Special) Case No.15 of 2022 pending in the file of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Cuttack, arising out of Badambadi P.S. Case No.164 of 2022, offence under Sections 21(b) of NDPS Act and is in custody since 11.06.2022.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Cuttack by order dated 05.07.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not want to press the bail application. Accordingly the BLAPL stands disposed of.

Taking into account the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that there has been patent impassion of mandatory provisions . This Court is persuaded to called upon the learned Court in seisin over the matter to conclude the trial expeditiously within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
