The grievance of Petitioner in this writ petition is with regard to inaction of Sub-Registrar, Konisi-Opposite Party No.4 in returning the documents bearing I.D. Nos. 1842102905 and 1842102907 dated 23rd August, 2022 under Annexure-2 series after its registration.

Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel, on instruction, submits that although the matter is pending for a considerable period, but the sale deed presented cannot be registered as the properties have already been attached by the Crime Branch, Odisha. He, therefore, submits that reason of refusal shall be communicated to the Petitioner as required under Section 71 of the Registration Act, 1908 within a period of one week.

In view of the submission made by Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel, this Court disposes of this writ petition with a direction that reason of refusal for registration of deeds presented by the Petitioner shall be communicated to him

// 2 // along with endorsement of refusal of the documents within a period of one week from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
