Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

3. The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Direct the Opp. Parties more particularly O.P. No.1 to regularize the service of the petitioner from 17.11.2020 to 09.05.2021 as duty and.

(ii) Further be pleased to direct the Opp.Parties more particularly O.P. No.1 to draw and disburse the salary (Duty Pay) for the period from 17.11.2020 to 09.05.2021 to the petitioner within stipulated period of time".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed an appeal on 02.04.2022 at Annexure-6 to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing

// 2 // has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
