Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) This Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to consider the facts stated above, call for the records and issue Rule Nisi calling upon the Opp.Parties to show cause as to why the date of joining of the petitioner in the final gradation shall not be corrected and if the Opposite Parties fail to show cause or show insufficient cause the said rule may be made absolute against the Opp. Parties and after hearing the parties, direction may kindly be issued to the opposite parties to correct the date of joining of the petitioner in the final gradation list for the greater interest of justice". 4.
He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed an appeal on 18.04.2022 at Annexure-3 to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.2 but till date nothing
// 2 // has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
