Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioners in this writ petition seek for a direction to the opposite parties to absorb the petitioners in Minor Irrigation Organization permanently in terms of resolution of the Government dated 28.11.1995 as well as in terms of the option exercised by them under Annexure-13. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that similar matters were before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack in O.A. No. 1013 (C) of 2007 and batch of cases, which were allowed vide order dated 19.06.2008. The opposite party-State assailed the said order before this Court, which was also dismissed and challenging the same, the State moved to the apex Court, where the case is pending. Learned counsel for the petitioners further contended that this writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the order passed in O.A. No. 1013 (C) of 2007, which shall abide by the order passed by the apex Court.

In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the order dated 19.06.2008 passed by the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack in O.A. No. 1013 (C) of 2007 and batch of cases.
