The petitioner is an accused in connection with Kegaon Case No. 61 of 2021 corresponding to C.T. Case No. 152 of 2021, pending on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Kalahandi, Bhawanipatna, for commission of the alleged offence under Sections 302/201/34 of the I.P.C.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bhawanipatna (I/C) by order dated 29.06.2022, the present BLAPL has been filed.

The petitioner is stated to be in custody since11.06.2021. 5.
Perused the order passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bhawanipatna (I/C) rejecting the bail application.

Since trial has commenced, this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application at this stage, the BLAPL stands rejected. 7.
Since it is submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 11.06.2021, this Court directs the learned court in seisin over the matter to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of certified copy of this order. It shall be open to the petitioner to renew his prayer, if the trial is not concluded within the time fixed.
