Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) This Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue Rule Nisi for any other appropriate Writs against the Opp. Parties calling upon the opposite parties to show cause as to why they shall not be directed to sanction the annual increment of the petitioner during the period of suspension and revise his pay in accordance with ORSP Rules, 2017 subsequently with all consequential financial benefits.
(ii) And if the Opp. Parties failed to show cause or show insufficient cause, make the said rule absolute by directing the Opposite Parties to sanction the annual increment of the petitioner during the period of suspension and revise his pay in accordance with ORSP Rules, 2017 subsequently with all consequential financial benefits".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed an appeal on 12.01.2022 at Annexure-3 to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.3 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
