Heard Mr. A.Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K.Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.
At the outset on oral prayer, Mr.Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to correct the description of opposite party No.3 in Court today.

According to Mr. Mohanty, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Madhupatna P.S. Case No. 105 of 2022 registered for commission of offences under Sections 294 and 506 I.P.C. 4.
During course of hearing, Mr. Mohanty submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to move the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cuttack (opposite party No.3) in the matter by filing a grievance petition and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion at an early date. 5.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a grievance petition before
// 2 // opposite party No.3 through registered post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such a petition is filed along with a copy of this order, the opposite party No.3 would do well to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
