This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in C.T. Case No.338 of 2022, pending in the file of learned S.D.J.M., Athagarh, arising out of Khuntuni P.S. Case No.142 of 2022 under Sections 498A/323/307/294/506/34 of IPC and Section 4 of the D.P. Act and is in custody since 01.07.2022.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Athagarh by order dated 08.07.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the injury report and the period of custody, this Court directs petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
