This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The Petitioners are accused in connection with G.R. Case No. 673 of 2022 arising out of Dharakote P.S. Case No. 147 of 2022 on the file of learned JMFC, Aska, registered for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 379 of the I.P.C. and Sec. 136 of the Electricity Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of their application for bail U/s 439 Cr. P.C. by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Aska, Ganjam by order dated 07.07.2022in BLAPL No.212 of 2022, the present BLAPL has been filed.

The petitioners are stated to be in custody since13.06.2022. 6.

Taking into account the nature of allegation, punishment prescribed and period of custody, this Court directs that the petitioners

shall be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
