Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.

The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "(i) It is, therefore, prayed that your Lordships may be pleased to direct the State/O.Ps more particularly O.P No.3-Chief Construction Engineer, Potteru Irrigation Project, Chitrakonda Balimela, Dist. Malkangiri for protection of pay of the petitioner in terms of Finance Deptt.

Office memorandum No.48579 dt. 4.12.99 as recommended by the Executive Engineer, Potteru Irrigation Division under Annexure-5 and accordingly fix the pay of the petitioner and also disburse the consequential financial benefits to him". 4.

Considering the submission made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation before the Opposite Party No.4 by enclosing all the relevant documents and citations in support of his claim, if any, within a period of three weeks hence.

It is observed that if such a representation is filed within the aforesaid period, the Opposite Party No.4 shall do well to dispose of the representation within a period of three months. The decision so taken by the Opposite Party No.4 be communicated to the Petitioner within that time. 6.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
