This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Issue direction to the opposite party No.1 to initiate a proceeding under the Provisions of EPF & MP Act, 1952 against the Opp.Party No.2 to recovery of EPF dues, contribution for the period from 6.6.1988 to 31.01.2022 (33 years 7 months 23 days) and granted the EPF benefit in favour of the petitioner.
(ii) And or issue direction to the opposite party no.2 to deposit the E.P.F dues along with contribution, administrative charges of the petitioner for the period from 6.6.1988 to 31.1.2002 (33 years 7 months 23 days).
(iii) Further the opp.party No.1 be directed to grant pensionary benefit under the EPF Pension Scheme, 1995 w.e.f. 1.2.2022 along with other statutory EPF benefit within a stipulated period".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation
// 2 // on 15.02.2022 under Annexure-4-Series to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
