01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Choudhury, learned AGA appearing for the Opp. Parties.

3. The Petitioner is aggrieved by the order of suspension passed by the Collector, Jajpur on 20.02.2022 under Annexure-2. Though it is submitted that the said Authority has got no jurisdiction to pass such an order of suspension, but taking into account the grievance made in the writ Petition, this Court permits the Petitioner to move an application seeking revocation of the said order before the Collector, Jajpur-O.P. No. 4 within a period of seven (7) days from today along with all the documents that have been annexed to the present writ Petition in support of his illness during conduct of the last election process.

4. It is observed that if any such application is filed within a period of seven (7) days from today, the said Opp. Party No. 4 shall take a lawful decision on the same within a further period of two (2)

// 2 // weeks. Since it is submitted that in terms of the order passed by the Collector under Annexure-2, the Petitioner has not been paid with his subsistence allowance, O.P. No. 3 is directed to release the subsistence allowance as due and admissible within a period of two

(2) weeks from today.
