This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

This is an application for extension of time. 3.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the injury report has not been submitted by the I.O. as per direction of the learned court below. It is further submitted that the petitioner was suffering from COVID-19 and he was taking medicines as per the advice of the doctor. It is also submitted that due to heavy rainfall, the house of the petitioner was drenched by flood water and that the petitioner could not surrender before the learned court below in time. 5.
Further, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the condition of verification of injury report may be waived. Hence, the present I.A. has been filed for modification and also extension of time to surrender.

Considering the submissions, it is further directed that the condition of verification of injury report is waived, rest part of the order remaining the same and the petitioner can avail the benefit of the bail order dated 29.07.2022, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar on or before 14th of September, 2022.

The I.A. is disposed of accordingly.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
