This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with C.T. Case No. 534 of 2022 arising out of Kaptipada P.S. Case No. 167 of 2022, pending on the file of the learned SDJM, Udala for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 341/294/506 of the I.P.C. and Sections 25 &27 of the Arms Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned 1st Addl. District & Sessions Judge, Baripada by Order dtd.29.06.2022 in Bail Application No.381 of 2022, the present BLAPL has been filed.

The petitioner is stated to be in custody since 16.6.2022.

Taking into account the nature of allegation, filing of Charge sheet and the period of custody, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Additionally, it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional Police Station once every fifteen days till conclusion of the trial. Violation of such appearance shall entail cancellation of bail. .

The BLAPL thus stands disposed of.
