This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in Pipili P.S. Case No.100 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.168 of 2022, pending before the file of learned J.M.F.C., Pipili, for alleged commission of offences under Sections 409/420/467/468/471/120(B) of IPC. 4.

Being aggrieved by the Rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Puri, by order dated 04.06.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in the meanwhile charge-sheet has been submitted as co-accused similarly circumstanced have been released on bail by order dated 11.07.2022 passed in BLAPL No.5725 of 2022.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail inter alia on the ground that since further investigation continuing

release of the petitioner at this stage will jeopardize the impending investigation.

Taking into account the release of the co-accused and the role ascribed to the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Additionally it is directed that the petitioner shall furnish cash security of Rs.50,000/-(Rupees fifty thousand), which shall be kept in a short term interest bearing account pledged in favour of the Court in seisin over the matter and shall abide by the final outcome.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
