This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

At the outset, Mr. Panda, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays for striking out the averments made in paragraphs-23 and 24 of the rejoinder affidavit. He is permitted to so in Court.

This contempt petition has been filed alleging noncompliance of the order dated 22nd March, 2022 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 4599 of 2022.

This Court while disposing of the aforesaid writ petition directed as under:

"3. Keeping in view the above submission of learned counsel for the Petitioner and as this Court finds, the representation at the instance of the Petitioner is still pending before the Collector, Puri, this Court directs the Collector, Puri to consider the representation at the instance of the Petitioner vide Annexure-4 and take a lawful decision in the matter taking into account the grounds stated in this writ petition so also the documents appended thereto and if necessary, involving the Petitioner.

The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of communication of an authenticated copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition by the Petitioner."

In response, the Collector, Puri filed an affidavit enclosing the copy of the order passed by him on 22nd March, 2022 pursuant to the direction of this Court. 6.

In that view of the matter, no contempt is made out. Accordingly, the CONTC is dropped.
