Heard Ms. P.P. Barik, learned counsel on behalf of Mr. G. Satapathy for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel.

According to Ms. Barik, the petitioners are aggrieved by the manner in which the investigation is going on in connection with Tihidi P.S. Case No. 215 of 2022 registered for commission of offences under Sections-341/323/294/427/506/34, I.P.C.

Notwithstanding such registration of F.I.R. when the petitioner constructed a boundary wall, the accused persons illegally demolished that wall and though in this connection, the petitioner has moved the Opposite Party No.3 on 28.06.2022 praying for police assistance, however, nothing has been done in the matter as a result, the petitioner is suffering a lot. 3.

Mr. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that for redressal of such type of grievances, the petitioner should approach the Superintendent of Police, Bhadrak (Opposite

Party No.2).

In such background, Ms. Barik prays that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to move the Superintendent of Police, Bhadrak (Opposite Party No.2) by filing a grievance petition and further prays that a direction be issued to the said Opposite Party to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioners to file a grievance petition before the Superintendent of Police, Bhadrak (Opposite Party No.2) within a period of two weeks along with a copy of this order by Speed Post. In the event, such a grievance petition is received by the Opposite Party No.2, he is directed to take a decision in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of such petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 6.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.
