This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in T.R. Case No.85 of 2021, pending in the file of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Koraput-Jeypore, arising out of Jeypore Town P.S. Case No.226 of 2021, for commission of alleged offences under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C)/25/29 of NDPS Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Special Judge, Koraput, Jeypore by order dated 26.04.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the quantity of contraband (ganja) seized, this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application at this stage.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands rejected.
