This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in Special Case No.67 of 2022, pending in the file of learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Keonjhar, arising out of Cyber Crime & Economic P.S. Case No.08 of 2022, for commission of alleged offences under Sections 292/354-A/506/507/509 of IPC read with Section 6 of Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, read with Section 8 and 12 of the POCSO Act, read with Section 67/67-A/67-B of the Information Technology Act and is in custody since 29.06.2022. 4.
Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Keonjhar by order dated 04.07.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 29.06.2022 and as charge sheet has
already been filed on 22.10.2022, further continuance of the petitioner in custody is not warranted.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail inter alia on the ground that the petitioner has transgressed the privacy of the victim.

Perused the 164 Cr.P.C. statement of the victim. 8.
Taking into account filing of the charge sheet and the period of custody, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter. 9.
Additionally, it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer once every 15 days on such date and time fixed by the learned Court in seisin till conclusion of trial. 10.
Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
