Heard Mr. S. Das, learned Counsel on behalf of Mr. S.K. Mohanty, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.K. Nanda, learned Additional Government Advocate.

According to Mr. Das, the sole prayer of the petitioner in this case is for a direction to the Learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Berhampur to conclude the trial in G.R. Case No. 137 of 2017 within a stipulated time period. In this context, he relied upon Sub Section-2 of Section-35 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. 4.

Considering the innocuous nature of prayer, the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Berhampur is directed to make all endeavor to conclude the trial in the above noted case in accordance with law within a period of twelve months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, if there is no other impediment.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules.
