CONTC No.4581 of 2022 Ranjan Dehury ....

Petitioner Mr. Prafulla Chandra Das, Advocate -versusSurya Prakash Nayak ....

Contemnor/Opp.Party Mr. L. Samantaray, AGA

CORAM:

JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH JUSTICE M. S. RAMAN Order No.

ORDER (Oral) 22.09.2022 03.

This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 1.

Mr. Samantaray, learned Additional Government Advocate points out that the present contempt has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order dated 20.04.2022 passed in W.P.(C) No.8343 of 2020. He further submits that from the order itself it is apparent that no direction was issued for doing anything in the light of the petitioner himself not coming forward to collect the amount of compensation to be paid by way of a cheque.

2.

Even today, it is conceded that the petitioner has not come forward to collect his admissible amount of compensation.

// 2 // 3.

In view of the above, we find no ground to invoke our contempt jurisdiction. Accordingly, the CONTC is dismissed.
