This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition seeks to assail the demand notice dated 15th July, 2021 (Annexure-1) issued by the Senior Assistant, Estate Manager-cum-Convenor of Standing Committee, Paradeep Port Trust-Opposite Party No.2 for occupation of Quarter No.MB-55 in the Paradeep Port Trust area.

Mr. Jena, learned counsel for the Petitioner drawing attention of the Court to Annexure-11 appended to I.A. No.11409 of 2022 submits that the matter is pending before the Assistant Estate Manager, Paradeep Port Trust. In that view of the matter, interest of justice will be best served, if the Opposite Parties take a decision on the grievance petition dated 20th July, 2021 under Annexure-10 series. He undertakes to appraise the competent authority about the grievance raised in the grievance petition dated 20th July, 2021 submitted by the Petitioner-Society under Annexure-10 series.

In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the Petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case of the Petitioner-Society disposes of this writ petition with a direction that in the event, the Petitioner-Society files a copy of the grievance petition dated 20th July, 2021 addressed to the Chairman, Paradeep Port Trust under Annexure-10 series along with certified copy of this order within a period of seven days hence, the competent authority shall do well to consider the same in accordance with law, if the said petition is still pending for consideration and communicate the result thereof to the Petitioner forthwith.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
