08.09.2022 Order No.
07.
1. Heard Mr. K.C. Nayak, learned counsel for the Appellantclaimant as well as Mr. B.N. Udgata, learned counsel for the Respondent No.2-Insurance Company.
2. Present appeal by the claimant is directed against the award dated 08.06.2017 of the learned 2nd MACT, Cuttack in Misc. Case No.1369 of 1999 wherein the learned Tribunal has granted compensation to the tune of Rs.5,000/- along with interest @6% per annum to the claimant from the date of filing of the claim application i.e.23.12.1999 on account of injury sustained by her in the motor vehicular accident dated 29.08.1999.
3. Upon hearing both the parties and perusal of the impugned judgment reveals that the injury is simple in nature on the middle finger of left hand. The injured did not file any medical document with regard to her treatment, if any. Therefore, considering the
nature of injury and the materials brought on record, no reason is seen to interfere with the impugned award to enhance the compensation amount.
4. In the result, the appeal is dismissed.
