This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing Mode.

Heard Mr. Sahoo, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Dash, learned AGA.

According to Mr. Sahoo, the Petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the authorities in releasing the enhanced awarded amount as determined vide judgment dated 25th April, 2017 in LA Reference Case No.141 of 2010 pronounced by learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Deogarh.

In course of hearing, he submits that liberty may be granted to the Petitioner to approach the Director (R & R) & ExOfficio Additional Secretary to Government, Department of Water Resources, Odisha, Bhubaneswar(OP No.3) by filing a grievance petition for redressal of his grievances and further a direction may be issued to the said Opposite Party to take a decision on the same within a specified time. 5.

Considering such submission and without expressing any opinion on either side, this Court grants liberty to the Petitioner to file a comprehensive representation before Opposite Party No.3 within a period of two weeks by registered post along with a

// 2 // copy of this order. In the event, such an application is made, this Court directs Opposite Party No.3 to take a decision on the same within a period of four weeks there from and in case he comes to a conclusion that the Petitioner is entitled to the benefit as claimed, he shall direct release of the same to the Petitioner, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks thereafter.

With the direction as aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy of the order on proper application.
