1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Heard.

3. In this Writ Petition, the petitioners challenge the action of the opposite parties in not granting their arrear salary from April, 2010 to February, 2012.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners were appointed as contractual Assistant Training Officers (ATOs) in Balasore ITI since 08.03.2007 through walk in interview basis and since then they have been working as such. He further submits that the Government has decided to enhance their salary with

// 2 // effect from April, 2010 pursuant to the proceeding held in the IMC meeting dated 22.03.2010. The petitioner obtained the information of the proceeding through RTI that they are entitled to get the salary at the enhanced rate i.e. Rs.8,500/- per month with effect from April, 2010. However, the petitioners have not been given the enhanced salary for about 23 months i.e. from April, 2010 to February, 2012. Hence, the petitioners are constrained to approach this Court.

5. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners have submitted a representation under Annexure-3 to the opposite party No.4-Principal and Convener IMC, Government I.T.I., Balasore which is pending since 08.07.2020.

6. In view of the above facts, the opposite party No.4Principal and Convener IMC, Government I.T.I., Balasore is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioners under Annexure-3 in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of submission of a copy of this order along with a copy of the Writ Petition.

7. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
