Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Govt. Advocate for the State.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the selection of opposite party no.5 as Anganwadi Worker of Konkoda Anganwadi Center in Nuagaon Panchayat Samiti under Nuagada Block in the district of Gajapti. It is contended that the petitioner has secured the highest mark as per the result sheet published on 28.08.2021, enclosed as Annexure-3 to the writ petition, but was not given appointment on the ground that she does not belong to the service area. 4.
Since the statutory remedy is available in the form of appeal to the Additional District Magistrate, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to prefer an appeal within a period of two weeks. If such appeal is filed within the aforesaid period, the same shall be disposed of in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter.
