Heard Mr. M.R. Mohapatra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. H.M. Dhal, learned Additional Government Advocate.

According to Mr. Mohapatra, though the petitioner has made certain investments in the bonds of M/s. Ashirbad Multipurpose Cooperative Ltd. and though the matured amount was fixed to be paid on 12.07.2018, however, till date despite several requests, the said amount has remained unpaid. He further submits that though the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 26.05.2022 before the Superintendent of Police, Economic Offence Wing, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.3) under Annexure-1 by sending the same through registered post on the same day, however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner within a specific time period. 3.

Considering the submissions made and without

// 2 // expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted representation of the petitioner under Annexure-1 in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application in course of the day.
