Heard Mr. D.R. Parida, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.
According to Mr. Parida, the grievance of the petitioner in this case pertains to the tardy manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Balianta P.S. Case No.227 of 2022 registered for commission of offences under Sections 406/ 386/ 449/ 506/34, IPC. During course of hearing, he submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party no.2) for redressal of his grievances.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to approach the Commissioner Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party no.2) by filing a grievance petition along with a certified copy of this order through Registered Post within a period of two weeks. In the event such grievance petition is received by opposite party
// 2 // no.2, he is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.
The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.
