2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. S.K. Parhi, learned ASGI along with Mr. S.S. Kashyap, learned CGC.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition with the following prayer:- "It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit this Writ Petition, issue notice to Opp. Parties and after hearing from the counsels of both parties, issue a Writ in the nature of mandamus/certiorari directing the Opp.
Parties specially the Opp. Party No.2 to take immediate action to revise the scale of pay of the petitioner as per 7th pay commission and payment of consequent benefits thereof within a stipulated period taking into facts and circumstances of the case for the interest of justice."

The Petitioner has moved before Opposite Party No.2 seeking redressal of his grievances as made in the representation under Annexure-4 to the Writ Petition.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted representation of the petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and communicate the result thereof to the Petitioner.

With the aforesaid observation and direction the Writ Petition is disposed of.
