This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.560 of 2022, on the files of S.D.J.M. Berhampur, arising out of Sadar P.S. Case No.118 of 2022, under Sections 366/417/376(2)(n)/294/323/506 of IPC and is in custody since 18.03.2022.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Berhampur, by order dated 20.06.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the tenor of 164 Cr.P.C. statement and filing of charge sheet and the period of custody, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
