This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Standing Counsel.

Considering the submissions advanced by the learned counsel for both the parties, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the Petitioner. However, it is directed that the learned Sessions Judge, Sundargarh shall expedite the trial in Sessions Trial No.29 of 2020 and conclude the same within a period of six months. Further, it is directed that if the trial in the aforesaid Sessions Trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, it is open for the Petitioner to renew his prayer. In the event any such bail application is filed, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being influenced by any other factor.
