Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Direct the opposite parties more particularly to the Opposite Party Nos.1 and 2 to draw and disburse the legitimate gratuity amount in favour of the petitioner for the period he has rendered in workCharged-Establishment as J.E. Mechanical i.e. 23 years and 8 months at early date".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 11.05.2022 under Annexure-5 to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to

// 2 // opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
