At the outset, Ms. Azra Jamal, learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to correct the description of Opposite Party No.1 in the cause title so as to the address portion in Court today. 2.
Heard Ms. A. Jamal, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.
According to Ms. Jamal, the petitioner is aggrieved by non-registration of his F.I.R. i.e., Rajkanika P.S. Case No. 192 of 2022 dtd.13.06.2022 by the I.I.C., Rajkanika Police StationOpposite Party No.3 under Section-307 I.P.C though according to her, there exists materials in support of the same. He is also aggrieved by the manner in which the investigation is going in connection with the above noted case. Lastly, she submits that though highlighting all her grievances, the petitioner has approached the Superintendent of Police, Kendrapara (Opposite Party No.2) by sending a grievance petition under annexure-4
series through Registered Post on 27.06.2022 however, till date no action has been taken on the same. In such background, she prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the grievance petition of the petitioner within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition of the petitioner under Annexure-4 series in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules.
