This writ petition involves the following prayer:- Order No.

"It is therefore prayed that, your honour may graciously be pleased :- (i) To admit this Writ Petition.

(ii) To direct the Opposite parties more particularly Tahasildar, Sadar, Balasore to dispose of the Mutation Case 584/2022 in accordance with the Judgement of the learned District Judge, dtd. 19.8.1997 passed in Title Appeal No.17/1996 and Record of Right be prepared in favourof the Petitioners in view of Section 34 of Survey Settlement Act , so as to enable them to pay Rent and cess to the Govt. Any may pass such other order/orders, direction/ directions as deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, this Court directs, in the event the proceeding vide Mutation Case No.584/2022 is still pending, necessary steps shall be undertaken by the Tahasildar, Sadar, Balasore to dispose of the

// 2 // Mutation Case No.584/2022 within a period of two months from the date of communication of an authenticated copy of this order by the Petitioners. It is further directed that if necessary, service of notice on the parties therein shall be undertaken through Special Messenger also at the cost of the Petitioners.
