This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioners are an accused in Chandpur P.S. Case No.71 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.202 of 2022 pending before the learned J.M.F.C., Ranpur, and offence under Sections 379/411/420/120-B/34 of the IPC read with Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and is in custody since 07.06.2022.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of their application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Nayagarh, by order dated 21.07.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Perused the rejection order.

Taking into account the nature of allegations and the punishment prescribed and the period of custody since 07.06.2022. This Court directs the petitioners to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter. 7.

Additionally, it is directed that they shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once every month till conclusion of investigation.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
