Heard learned counsel for Petitioner and learned counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that your Lordship may graciously be pleased to admit this writ application and issue Rule NISI to the opposite parties calling upon them to show cause as to why they shall not be directed to consider the case of the petitioner for his redeployment as Constable of Police in the district cadre within a stipulated period".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 09.08.2021 at Annexure-6 to the Writ Petition, before the opposite party No.3 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period. 5.
Considering the submissions made and without
// 2 // expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
