This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in G.R. Case No.1686 of 2022 arising out of Bhadrak Rural P.S. Case No.328 of 2022, pending in the file of learned S.D.J.M., Bhadrak, for alleged commission of offences under Sections 399/402/411/412 of IPC. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned District & Sessions Judge, Bhadrak, by order dated 13.07.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 25.06.2022 and as charge-sheet has already been filed in the meanwhile, further continuance of the petitioner in custody is unwarranted.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail keeping in view the antecedents of the petitioner. 7.

Taking into account the period of custody and filing of charge-sheet, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter. 8.

Since the petitioner has criminal proclivity, it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the local police station once every week till conclusion of trial.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
