This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 1.

The petitioner has filed this Contempt Petition against the order dated 04.02.2020 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.15563 of 2019.

The brief facts of the case are that the present petitioner had preferred a Writ Petition bearing W.P.(C) No.15563 of 2019 seeking a direction from this Court to release the benefits awarded in her favour under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and Rules made thereunder.

This Court vide order dated 04.02.2020 directed the Opposite Parties to take necessary action on the representation filed by the petitioner within a period of

// 2 // three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order along with a copy of the Writ Petition and relevant documents, if any, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

The petitioner submitted the relevant documents on 13.02.2020 before the Opposite Parties. However, no action was taken by the Opposite Parties. Due to noncompliance of the order dated 04.02.2020, this Contempt Petition has been filed by the Petitioner.

During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the Opposite Parties submits that a Compliance Affidavit dated 17.09.2022 has been filed wherein it is mentioned that the order dated 04.02.2020 passed by this Court has been complied with by the Opposite Parties.

In view of the compliance affidavit dated 17.09.2022, the CONTC is dismissed as infructuous.
