Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the order dated 22.03.2018 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.13712 of 2015, the case of the petitioner for promotion with effect from 02.05.2012 was duly considered by the Departmental Promotion Committee and the consequential benefits have been granted.

3. In view of the statement of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the contempt proceeding is dropped and accordingly the CONTC is dismissed.
