This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioners are accused in C.T. Case No.259 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. case No.915 of 2021, on the files of Additional Sessions Judge, Jagatsinghpur, arising out of Biridi P.S. Case No.152 of 2021, under Sections 498(A)/302/201/436/34 of IPC and is in custody since 11.10.2021.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of their application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jagatsinghpur, by order dated 18.07.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Keeping in view that trial has already commenced, this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application. Accordingly the same stands rejected.

Since the petitioner is in custody since 11.10.2021, learned Court in seisin over the matter to expedite the trial to conclude the same within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of the certified copy of this order. In the event the trial is not concluded within the time stipulated it shall be open to the petitioner to renew his prayer.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
