This writ petition involves the following prayer: "

P R A Y E R The petitioners therefore pray that this Hon'ble Court be graciously pleased to issue Rule NISI calling upon the opp.parties to show cause as to why a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or writs shall be issued.

i) Directing to opp. Parties to pay their insurance benefits including the compensation.

ii) Further direct the opp.parties to show cause or show insufficient case to make the rule absolute."

Considering the submissions made by the parties and on perusal of the documents attached to the writ petition this Court finds, on the selfsame issue the Petitioner has already a pending representation before the Collector, Ganjam vide Annexure-2(series). Keeping in view that decision on the claim of the Petitioner ultimately requires to be taken at the end of the Collector, this Court finds, no

// 2 // purpose will serve in keeping the matter pending, except disposing the writ petition with a direction to the Collector, Ganjam to look into the request of the Petitioner vide Annexure-2 (series) and take a lawful decision in the matter taking into account the recommendation available on record.

The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of communication of an authenticated copy of this order by the Petitioner.

As restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020 as modified by Court's Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021 and Court's Office order circulated vide memo Nos.514 & 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
