This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 94/43 of 2018-20 corresponding to Katarbaga P.S. Case No. 45 of 2018, pending on the file of the learned S.D.J.M., Sambalpur, for the alleged commission of offence under Sections-302/324 of the I.P.C and he is in custody since 27.04.2018.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge (I.R & LTV), Sambalpur by Order dtd. 08.07.2020 in S.T. Case No. 1207 of 2018, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Heard Mr. G.N. Sahu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Miss S. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

Taking into account the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that, the petitioner is in custody since 27.04.2018 and the trial has commenced as submitted, this Court directs that, the learned Court in seisin of the matter to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipts/production of the certified copy of this order. 6.

It is open to the petitioner to approach this Court at a later stage.

Accordingly, this BLAPL stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rule.
