Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The appellant is in custody in connection with Kesinga P.S. Case No.194 of 2022 corresponding to C.T. Case No.29 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Kalahandi for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 376(2)(1) of IPC read with Section 3(2)(v) of SC & ST (POA) Act. 4.

Considering the nature of accusations and the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, rejected. It shall be open to the appellant to renew his prayer after examination of the victim during trial.

CRLA is accordingly rejected.
