Heard Mr. K.K. Jena, learned counsel appearing for the Appellant.

Mr. Jena, learned counsel has clearly stated that after the failure of mediation, the Appellant has realized that the marital relation has broken irretrievably or beyond repair. As such, he filed cross-objection in MATA No.126 of 2017 claiming enhancement of the quantum of permanent alimony. Mr. Jena, learned counsel has further stated that, in view of the change in the approach of the Appellant, the Appellant has instructed to not press this appeal.

Accordingly, this appeal stands dismissed as not pressed.
