This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with G.R.Case No. 114 of 2020 arising out of Betnoti P.S. Case No. 143 of 2018, pending on the file of the learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Mayurbhanj for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 376-D/326A/307/506/34 of the I.P.C. and Sections 3(1)(w)(i)(ii)(r) and 3(2)(v)(va) of the Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Mayurbhanj at Baripada, by Order dtd. 12.05.2021, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner relying on the deposition of the informant-Gita Soren, prays for release of the petitioner.

Taking into account the nature of allegations and keeping in view that the trial is at the fag end, this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application at this stage. 7.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands rejected.

The leaned court in seisin over the matter is requested to conclude the trial within two months from the date of receipt/production of certified copy of this order. In the event the trial is not concluded within the time stipulated, it shall be open to the petitioner to renew his prayer.
