Heard Mr. A.K. Sahoo, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.

S.S.

Pradhan, learned Additional Government Advocate.

At the outset, on the oral prayer of Mr. Sahoo, he is permitted to implead Land Acquisition Zone Officer, Deogarh as Opposite Party No.4.

According to Mr. Sahoo, the grievance of the petitioners in this case relates to non-disposal of L.A. Application No. 575 of 2015 filed by the petitioners under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 relying on the decision dated 28.02.2015 pronounced by the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Deogarh in L.A. Ref. No. 97 of 2009 now pending before the Land Acquisition Zone Officer, Deogarh (Opposite Party No.4). In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the Opposite Party No.4 to dispose of the above noted application i.e. L.A. Application No. 575 of 2015 within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Land Acquisition Zone Officer, Deogarh (Opposite Party No.4) to dispose of L.A. Application No. 575 of 2015 under Annexure-1 series in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner no.1-Bhimsen Sahu, who in turn is directed to share such information/intimation with other petitioners. It is further directed that in case the application of the petitioner filed under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 is allowed and if there is no other legal impediment, the compensation amount be disbursed in favour of the petitioners within a period of two months thereafter.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 6.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
