This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Perused the Letter No.64 dated 05.08.2023 of the Ad-hoc Additional District & Sessions Judge (FTSC) under POCSO Act, Baripada.

It appears that while disposing of the bail application, this Court had directed the trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of four months vide order dated 22.02.2022. In letter dated 05.08.2023, the learned Court in seisin over the matter prayed for extension of time.

Since, none appears for the Petitioner when the matter was called. It is not known whether the trial has not been concluded in the meantime or not.

Considering the grounds stated in the letter, this Court extends the time to conclude the trial by another two months time from today,

// 2 // in the event the same is not concluded in the meantime. 6.

Registry is directed to communicate this order to the learned Adhoc Additional Distrct & Sessions Judge (FTSC) under POCSO Act, Baripada forthwith.
