This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in Kanpur P.S. Case No.79 of 2022 corresponding to Spl G.R. Case No.77 of 2022, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum- Special Court, Cuttack, under Sections 363/366/109 of IPC read with Section 17 of POCSO Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Court, Cuttack by order dated 26.07.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5.
Perused the order of rejection.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the principal accused is one Anil Kumar Sahoo has since been released
on bail by this Court by order dated 26.07.2022 in BLAPL No.6295 of 2022. Hence further continuance of the petitioner in custody is not warranted.

Taking into account the role ascribed to the petitioner and the release of the co-accused and keeping in view of his age, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter. 8.
Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
