1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
2. Heard.
3. In this Writ Petition, the Petitioner challenges the action of the Opposite Parties in not issuing appointment order in his favour as per the provisions made under Odisha Civil Service (Rehabilitation Assistance) Rules, 1990.
4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that while the father of the Petitioner was working as a Peon in M.E.
// 2 // School, Chadheigaon he died on 24.01.2006 leaving behind his legal heirs. The Petitioner is the only son of the deceased employee who aged about 10 years was minor then. Since the mother is an illiterate woman, the sister of the Petitioner had applied for appointment under the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme earlier. When she got married, she withdrawn her application for appointment under the said Scheme along with no objection for appointment of the Petitioner. When the Petitioner attained majority he applied for appointment under the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme in the year 2013. But the same is still pending before the authority i.e. the Opposite Party No.4/ District Education Officer, Mayurbhanj.

In such view of the matter, the Petitioner to approach the Opposite Party No.4/ District Education Officer, Mayurbhanj by filing a fresh representation ventilating his grievance within a period of three weeks from today. On such event, the Opposite Party No.4/ District Education Officer, Mayurbhanj shall dispose of the representation to be filed by the Petitioner with a reasoned order within a period of one month from the date of submission of the representation.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
